I've been waiting for quite awhile to share this wedding! I'm so excited to finally show off some of these beautiful photos!
Andrea and I could not stop ourselves, and took so many photos of this wedding. There were so many flowers and beautiful details everywhere you looked, that there was no way to truly capture it all.
No way.
No way.
So what you're about to see is really only a fraction of the gorgeous-ness that this wedding really was!
From the moment we arrived at Willow Creek, we were greeted by beautiful flowers.
Everywhere.
We knew it was going to be an amazing day, and we hadn't even seen the bride yet!
And of course--she was beautiful!
Also...
Also...
I love Krista and Ben's story! It may have something to do with the fact that it has a lot to do with Iowa, and Lord knows I am pretty partial to our beautiful state!
So here's the gist of the story, from what I gathered...
Krista is a California girl! Who came to Iowa for college...
Where she met and fell in love with Iowa farm boy, Ben!
And that was it! Who can really resist these Midwestern boys anway!? ;)
And that was it! Who can really resist these Midwestern boys anway!? ;)
So they met, they fell in love, and they got married.
And Krista is living happily ever after in Iowa with her very own Midwestern man!
But before the "ever after" part, they happily threw a hell of a party!
Kelli, from Nebraska Weddings Unveiled, as well as the florists at Flowers for Special Occasions blew me away with this room. I'm sure there were more people involved, so I'm sorry if I've left someone out... But seriously, I've never had a harder time capturing a room before!
So. Beautiful.
Plus, I got to work with Kelli all day that day, and I love her! Just sayin'.
Krista is a bit of a farm girl herself, I should add. In California, her family has a dairy farm, and they even brought some of their milk and butter to share with their dinner guests.
After dinner, there were toasts that included lots of jokes about destination weddings in Iowa. I did get a good laugh out of that!
Iowa may not be everyone's first choice of destination, but no one can argue that this isn't one of the most gorgeous weddings they've seen!
After the food was eaten, and the toasts were given, the party moved to the deck for dancing.
After a bit, Ben and Krista and I snuck away for a few more photos.
After all, we had to include Ben's tractor!
Getting away for a few minutes gave Ben and Krista a few minutes to talk and gave us all a good view of the party!
Things were really getting going!
Jesse, of Chaos Productions, is a super fun DJ, and he also has an awesome photo booth! Everyone was having such a great time with it!
But we couldn't resist anymore, and had to go join in on the fun!
After some more snacks and some more dancing, I think it was pretty safe to call Krista and Ben's wedding a giant success!
And just because I loved this couple so much, and I love this photo of them...
Here's one more!
