Avoca, Iowa Senior ~ Omaha/Council Bluffs Area Senior Photographer ~ Elizabeth
When Elizabeth arrived for her Senior photo session, I could see that she was a little guarded, not really knowing what to expect. I've kind of known her since she was little...we go to the same church (when I make it there anyway), and I photographer her older sister's wedding a couple of years ago. But being in this setting is a little nerve-racking for anyone, at least when first getting started. All I had to do was joke with her a little bit, and she came right out of her shell! Elizabeth and I spent most of her session laughing--mostly at each other! I had a great time taking her photos!

Shelby, Iowa, Senior ~ Omaha/Council Bluffs Area Senior Photographer ~ Marissa
Taking Marissa's senior photos was a ton of fun for me! My family and hers go way back...friendships that go back to our grandparents!
To get all of these photos, we hit several locations--each of them worth the trip! They even showed me a new spot that I fell in love with!

Arrowhead Park, Neola Senior ~ Omaha/Council Bluffs Area Senior Photographer ~ A'lece

Photographing A'lece is bittersweet for me! Of course, I am thrilled to do her senior photos! But on the flip side, she is the last of Sonja's three beautiful daughters! Sonja is my husband's cousin, and she made my job of photographing her girls easy--easy because they are all so darn gorgeous! I am thankful that I've gotten to take each of their senior photos not only for that reason, but also because I've had that time to get to know each of them a little better!
Taking A'lece's photos was no exception! I loved having the chance to chat with her about volleyball and some of her plans after high school. These are conversations that are sometimes harder to have during the large gatherings of family where we usually see each other. So despite the mosquitoes, it was a good time! I am so glad they chose me to do their photos!

Rural Iowa Senior ~ Omaha/Council Bluffs Area Senior Photographer ~ Paula
Doing Paula's Senior photos is something I had hoped to do since photographing her brother's wedding last year! Paula was a bridesmaid, and she was so sweet and upbeat! I loved getting to know her!
My husband and I already kind of knew her and her family before Phillip's wedding--Phil and my husband hunt together, and we all have some mutual friends! I was so excited that Paula chose me to be her photographer, and had such a great time laughing with her and her mom while we did her photos!

Omaha/Council Bluffs Area Senior Photographer ~ Madicen's Senior Session
Last year, I was lucky enough to photograph a super sweet senior boy with three younger sisters! Drake was a wonderful subject--a young man who could handle having his picture taken for over three hours! The first of his younger sisters was no exception to the sweetness of this family! Madicen even brought the next sister in line along with her, so we got to get acquainted before next year!
We had a great time posing Madicen and being silly in one of my favorite locations, and we caught some great light right before sunset! I was so happy with the result!

Omaha/Council Bluffs Area Senior Photographer ~ Jessica's Senior Session
The tracks were really only one of our stops as I photographed this gorgeous senior girl this summer. We went to several great locations to capture all of her images--everywhere from my studio, to these beautiful train tracks, to a local wedding chapel. The train tracks are a favorite location of mine, and always result in some of my favorite images!
I loved this girl's cheerleading outfit as well! Especially with her Chucks! She reminded me so much of Peyton Sawyer...any fellow One Tree Hill fans will know exactly what I'm talking about! The sad part was that she had no idea what I was talking about. That show isn't that old yet, is it? Maybe it is, and this was just the first time I got to feel like I am aging!? :P

Well, we had a great time anyway!
