These two brothers have an awesome mommy who has become such a good friend of mine!  You'll see photos of them posted here and on my Facebook fairly often, but it all started with their parents' wedding photos a few years ago!  I just love this little family, and I really love doing photos of them!

Since there had been a photo of big brother with his tractor in the corn field, we needed to do one of little brother too!  The following set of photos was the result!

I met Nicole and Nate at one of Willow Creek's amazing open house events--I have met so many awesome couples there!  I think we all hit it off right away, because they booked their wedding with me that same day, and I was so excited about it!  After several long, winter months, getting to do this engagement session was a much appreciated chance to get to know them!

When I get the chance to chat with my couples like this, I like to talk to them about how they met, what they're looking forward to most about the wedding, and just whatever else comes up!  I love that I got to know all of that about Nicole and Nate, and then some.  I don't think we ever had one quiet moment during their session!  And to top it all off, they have a beautiful, spunky little girl that I just couldn't get enough of!  She wasn't always excited about the photos, but her little personality wins you over, regardless of if she shares your goals!

This family of three is going to have an amazing wedding day this fall!  I can't wait to see it all unfold!

Last week, I got to meet my newest neighbor!  I was ecstatic to make the long journey across the back yard to take some lifestyle photos of him with his mommy and daddy!  I don't do a lot of newborns, and this was the first time I've been hosed down by a peeing little guy!  His daddy is quite the comedian--commenting on Baby G's method of introducing himself to the neighbors!

At any rate, Baby G is perfect!  I am so excited for Angie and Brian, and so happy we live close by and will get to see this little guy grow up!

A bit of time has passed since I did my last newborn session.  I don't do a lot of these anymore.  But my friend, Kelsey, had a beautiful little boy, and she lives about three houses away from me so...  I had to go see him and take a few photos!  I am so glad I did!  These were the last photos I took in 2014...what an awesome way to end the year!  

This little boy did a great job with his first photos!  I am so happy for Kelsey and Blake and their new little guy!

Here is one of my favorite families ever!  I grew up with this family, and I love them like my own!  This is my best friend and her amazing family!  Amber and I grew up at each other's houses with each other's families!  I was a bridesmaid in her wedding, and she was one in mine!  I was there at the hospital when her son was born!  And next year, I will get to be there, capturing every moment, as her older sister, Alyssa, marries Anthony!  I absolutely cannot wait!

After receiving some very flattering e-mails from Ashley leading up to their session, I was very excited to meet her!  I kind of knew Tyler in high school, but hadn't really seen him since.  I will just say this--Congrats, Tyler, on the awesome little family you have here!  Ashley was just as sweet in person as she had been in her messages to me, and their adorable baby girl is just that--absolutely adorable!  I think she was feeling a little shy, and she sure wanted her momma!  But we got some great shots from her, and I just love how they came out!
