They had a standing Grey's Anatomy date for several years, and then took another risk like the one they took on their first date--they planned an outdoor wedding for May! Exactly six and a half years after that first date, Danielle and Tim's second risk paid off, and they had a beautiful, sunny, rain-free wedding day!
Danielle included so many beautiful, meaningful details into her day. She wore her grandmother's pearls, which had also been worn by her sister on her own wedding day. Danielle also wore a sapphire bracelet given to her by her mother. I especially loved the "something blue" box that contained two vintage hankies--one belonging to her grandmother, and belonging to Tim's. This hankie was the very same one that Tim's grandmother carried on her own wedding day. Tim carried his grandfather's from that day.
Tim, along with some family friends--owners of Perspectives Jewelry Design in Omaha's Old Market--designed the perfect engagement ring for Danielle. He proposed on the beach in Mexico with the one-of-a-kind ring he had put his heart into. I can't think of anything sweeter!
After the beautiful outdoor ceremony, the wedding party and a few special guests took a ride on a vintage 1930's school bus to one of Tim and Danielle's favorite bars and to her parents' house for a few more photo ops!
The couple had the cutest outdoor reception! I loved the café lights strung in the trees, and the homemade ice cream! Josh and I were ecstatic to see Lazy T's ice cream at this wedding! Their ice cream machines are powered by an antique John Deere hit and miss engine, and they are an annual treat at Walnut's Antique Walk.
This was such a beautiful outdoor wedding! I am so happy that Josh and I got to be a part of Danielle and Tim's day!
